We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary one-day workshop designed for both young performers and their parents: “Behind the Curtain : A Family Workshop on Supporting a Young Actor’s Journey”. On Saturday, October 25th, join us in San Francisco for a unique opportunity to learn directly from three powerhouse industry professionals

One of the questions we hear most often is: “Our kid wants to be an actor!? What do we do to help them in the Industry?” “How can we best support our young artist’s dream?” “Do you offer a workshop for parents on how to navigate all this?” After years of hearing this request, we are proud to say: We’ve listened, and we’re answering the call. We are bringing back the Family Workshop!

On Saturday, October 25th in San Francisco’s Union Square, we invite you to a special one-day workshop for families of young performers (ages 8–18, all levels welcome). This educational event brings together three powerhouse industry voices!

The Faculty for the Workshop Includes:

Geralyn Flood (Casting Director for Big Time Rush, That 90’s Show, and TONS more)

Katie Moffitt (Talent Agent at Johnson Talent Agency)

​

Shawn Ryan (Director/Acting Coach/Founder & CEO CampYATC).

Together, they’ll de-mystify the world of casting, auditions, and representation for parents and campers alike.

Parents are highly encouraged (though not required) to attend alongside their camper for maximum benefit. Our faculty includes Casting Director Geralyn Flood, whose credits span from Big Time Rush to That 90’s Show and who currently consults for AMC. She’ll be joined by Katie Moffitt of Johnson Talent Agency, sharing an agent’s eye view of today’s shifting industry, and Shawn Ryan, Director and Acting Coach, offering invaluable insight on preparation as the key to long-term success. Together, we’ll sit down with parents and campers to de-mystify the audition process, representation, and how to thoughtfully nurture a career in the arts.
